Project Title
HU Digital Twin
Description
Creating a digital replica of Habib University’s campus, focused on the Projects Lab and Digital Instrumentation Lab, using crowd detection, energy management, and emergency evacuation systems. Computer vision-based crowd detection analyzes one hour of camera footage to anonymously track occupancy and movement within a 3D campus model. Simulated IoT data identifies unused rooms with active assets such as lights and air conditioning to support energy efficiency. The emergency evacuation system helps identify occupied spaces and enables faster, safer evacuation of the premises.
